UPDATE: As noted recently, TNA offered AJ Styles a deal to return to the company, a deal that Styles reportedly turned down.
It was reported that TNA offered the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion and current IWGP Heavyweight Champion what is being described as a “significant” deal to be inducted into the TNA Hall Of Fame and wrestle a match at the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view later this month.
One source claims the reason that Styles turned down the offer was because his priorities are with both Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling right now.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that in addition to the TNA Hall Of Fame induction and Slammiversary offer, TNA was also looking to have Styles work a match at their Bound For Glory pay-per-view later this year.
Speaking of TNA pay-per-view events, the plan is two run two events per year – Slammiversary and Bound for Glory.
