Backstage Report – Major Changes To WWE’s Slammy Awards?

According to sources, WWE has been discussing the idea of giving the Slammy Awards its own special on the WWE Network instead of having it be an episode of RAW. The plan would be to book a smaller theater-style building instead of a major arena and air it as a Network exclusive.

WWE is currently planning to run quarterly live specials on the Network in 2016, similar to the Elimination Chamber and the upcoming July Tokyo house show.
