Thursday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown gained in viewers, but lost in the demo rating due to the NFL draft. The episode drew 2.496 million viewers, which was up 1% from last week’s 2.466 million. However, the demo rating was a 0.63 which was down 3% from last week’s 0.65.
The demo rating fall certainly was due to the draft, which was the highest-rated programming on cable with 3.738 million viewers and a 1.53 demo rating. Smackdown finished fourth for the night behind the Draft, the Draft pre-show and the post-Draft SportsCenter show.
