Thursday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown was up nicely in the ratings, even as viewership slipped a bit. The show drew 2.405 million viewers and a 0.68 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic; those numbers are down 2% and up 10% from last week’s 2.443 million and 0.62 demo rating. Smackdown ranked eighth among cable originals for the night, taking a backseat to the massive rating for the Republican primary debate (5.27 demo rating, 24 million viewers), Jon Stewart’s final episode on The Daily Show (3.471 million, 1.43 demo rating), Teen Mom II (1.443 million, 0.82 rating) and several FOX News shows following in the wake of the debate.
