— As reported over the weekend, a WWE fan who attended Saturday’s live event from Victoria, British Columbia threw a replica Money In the Bank briefcase into the ring and hit Roman Reigns in the head during his match against Bray Wyatt.
CTVNews.ca confirms that the fan was arrested, but the charges were later dropped after he issued an apology. There were no injuries in the incident.
A Victoria police spokesman told CTVNews.ca that the 31-year-old fan “snuck” the briefcase into the arena and threw the briefcase into the ring after being encouraged to do so by other fans at ringside. He’s been banned from all future WWE events.
