UPDATE: Jimmy Snuka Removed From WWE’s Hall Of Fame?

UPDATED: WWE has issued the following statement, noting that they have suspended Jimmy Snuka’s Legends contract which led to the removal of his profile:

“Jimmy Snuka’s non-wrestling ‘legends’ contract has been suspended and we are currently removing his images from our media platforms pending the outcome of this case.”

ORIGINAL: In the wake of the third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter indictments levied against him on Tuesday, WWE has quietly removed Jimmy Snuka from the WWE Hall of Fame section of its website. Snuka’s profile is no longer on the site, including in alumni.

WWE issued a statement yesterday in which they said that they were reviewing Snuka’s WWE legends contract. The move is similar to Hulk Hogan’s removal from the Hall of Fame section, although Snuka has not been completely scrubbed from the site as Hogan was.
