UPDATE: According to sources, John Cena asked for his upcoming time off back during the summer. As previously noted, WWE has listed the reason for the time off as “personal reasons” as opposed to injury.
ORIGINAL: As we reported yesterday, John Cena was rumored to be taking time off after WWE’s Hell in A Cell pay-per-view, missing the next few episodes of RAW as well as the European tour. It was reported then that Cena wasn’t advertised for any events until at least December.
Now, WWE has provided an official statement, confirming that Cena is no longer part of their tour of Europe.
They wrote: “John Cena will not be appearing as part of WWE’s European tour this November due to personal reasons.“
