WWE took to Twitter to officially announce that they’ve signed Austin Aries to an NXT contract. The NXT Twitter account posted the following video of Aries appearing on NXT; in addition, below are a couple of photos from Aries’ appearance circulating on social media:

WWE.com also has an article on Aries signing, describing him as “a 15-year veteran of the squared circle who’s competed against the likes of Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe.” The article notes that Aries’ first NXT appearance will be on the March 2nd episode.
