Kanye West tried to get a couple of wrestling icons for his CD/fashion launch party on Thursday night, and got David Otunga instead. The rapper had the launch party for his Yeezy Season Three clothing line and his new LP “The Life of Pablo” and asked for “every awesome wrestler” to get invited, but only got Otunga.
West posted the text conversation to Twitter, where he specifically called out Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair as people he wanted invited. While they didn’t show up, Otunga posted a video on Twitter of being at the show. You can see the tweets below.
West’s album is supposed to release today, although controversial CEO Martin Shkreli may have forced a delay on that. Google it.
