Despite reports to the contrary, Sting has not retired. TMZ caught up with the 2016 WWE Hall of Famer and asked him about the report this past week that his neck was too badly injured from his match with Seth Rollins at Night of Champions to continue his career, and he said that’s just a rumor.
“My neck is okay. I’m not officially retired. There’s a lot of rumors out there, but I’m not officially retired,” he told the reporter. You can watch the video here.
For what it’s worth, there have been rumors that Sting will “officially” announce his retirement at the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
