WWE is still rumored to be interested in doing a Four Horsewomen (WWE) versus Four Horsewomen (MMA) feud within the near future, according to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that WWE is currently considering multiple ideas for the potential feud with a match at Survivor Series as a likely option since it is a joint brand PPV. This would solve the current problem of WWE’s Four Horsewomen being split between RAW (Sasha Banks & Bayley) and Smackdown (Charlotte & Becky Lynch).
Another idea currently in consideration is for Ronda Rousey’s first singles match to be against Charlotte and likely by Wrestlemania 34. Dave Meltzer stated that WWE was previously leaning towards Rousey’s first match being against Stephanie McMahon before Charlotte recently becoming the front-runner.
In regards to the status of Shayna Baszler in WWE, there are reports floating around of Baszler signing a contract, which Meltzer stated is likely true and would make sense since she hasn’t booked any new dates in the indies for months. Baszler was also reported to be very popular within WWE’s women’s locker room due to many of them having trained with her in the past.
