At last night’s Ring of Honor TV tapings in Las Vegas, Jeff Cobb defeated Punishment Martinez to become the new ROH World Television Champion.
Cobb attacked Martinez at the ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV the night before after Martinez won his match against Chris Sabin.
Jeff Cobb is reportedly not officially signed to Ring of Honor, but intends to sign some time next year when his Lucha Underground contract expires at the end of the current season (expected to be in 2019).
Cobb made his ROH debut at a TV taping in July, attacking two wrestlers in an ROH Top Prospect Tournament match.
