Yesterday on Twitter, Luke Harper said that he requested his release from WWE, while Alexander Wolfe said “goodbye” to WWE.
Neither of them have been released from the company as of this morning.
Harper’s contract expires some time around November, according to Dave Meltzer. Meltzer said that it was clear that Harper was looking to go to AEW. Harper is close friends with Chris Harrington, who is the Vice President of Business Strategy for AEW.
Alexander Wolfe is still under contract with WWE despite posting a message saying “Goodbye WWE” on Twitter, according to PWInsider. It’s not clear if he requested a release or if something else is going on.
Harper and Wolfe are both still listed on WWE.com’s roster page.
