Ric Flair’s surgery today was a success and he is now recovering, his wife Wendy Barlow told TMZ.
“Doctors said the procedure was a success,” Barlow said, adding that she wanted to thank everyone for their support.
The surgery was heart-related, according to Dave Meltzer. Flair has reportedly had multiple heart surgeries over the past few months.
Flair was rushed to a hospital Thursday morning with what TMZ called a “medical emergency.” He originally had a surgery scheduled for Friday, but it was postponed until today.
Flair had to pull out of “The Roast of Ric Flair” this Friday at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas because he’ll still be recovering from surgery and won’t be able to fly from Atlanta to Vegas.
