WWE held their annual Tribute to the Troops show on Friday before SmackDown at Marine Corps Air Station New River and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC, but the show apparently won’t be airing anywhere this year, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
WWE didn’t announce any air date for the show, which typically airs a couple of weeks after it tapes on USA Network.
Meltzer said that it wasn’t taped for TV and speculated that the reason could simply be that USA Network wasn’t interested in airing the show this year.
WWE posted a photo gallery.
These matches took place at the show:
- Kevin Owens & Humberto Carrillo vs. Drew McIntyre & Andrade
- A segment with Lashley, Rusev and Lana
- Ricochet & The Viking Raiders vs. AJ Styles, Anderson & Gallows
- The Street Profits vs. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
- The Kabuki Warriors vs. Natalya & Sarah Logan
- Boot Camp Match: Seth Rollins vs. Erick Rowan
