Luke Harper is expected to sign with AEW and debut on the March 18 Dynamite, which is in his hometown of Rochester, NY, according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Harper was released by WWE on December 8 and reportedly has a 90 day non-compete clause, meaning he’d be free to sign with AEW or any other company around March 8.
He’s expected to use his old ring name, Brodie Lee, which he used in indie promotions from 2003 until 2012, when he signed with WWE. Harper filed to trademark the name “Brodie Lee” on November 26.
