During a post-Double or Nothing media call, Tony Khan announced that Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Brian Cage at Fyter Fest.
A date wasn’t mentioned, but the first Fyter Fest took place on June 29 last year.
The debuting Cage won the Casino Ladder Match tonight at Double or Nothing to earn the world title shot.
Tony Khan also said that they originally planned to hold this year’s Fyter Fest in London, England, but that can’t happen now because of the coronavirus. He didn’t mention where the show will take place instead, but it will likely be in Florida. Last year’s Fyter Fest took place in Daytona Beach, Florida and was part of a video game convention. That aspect of the show seems doubtful for this year.
Last year’s Fyter Fest streamed for free in the US on B/R Live. There’s no word yet on the streaming details for this year.
Khan said that more details will be announced this Wednesday on Dynamite.

AEW also announced that their next major PPV, All Out will take place on Saturday, September 5.
No location was announced yet.
