Kevin Owens Neck Injury & Potential Return Plans Update
As noted before, Kevin Owens has been absent from WWE since April of 2025 due to a neck injury and surgery. Owens is currently expected to be making his return to WWE “very soon.”
Fightful Select reported that Owens was seen in Minneapolis on Friday ahead of this weekend’s two-night SummerSlam 2026 event in the city.
It was reported that it is currently not known if Owens will be making his actual return to WWE this weekend based on those spoken to.
Zoey Serrano (Zoey Stark) Comments on Becky Lynch, CM Punk, & Cody Rhodes Reached Out And Supported Her After Her WWE Release
As noted before, Zoey Stark was released from WWE this past April as part of a larger batch of talent releases and departures. Prior to her departure, Stark had been out of action since May of 2025 due to ACL, MCL, and meniscus injuries and made her official in-ring return this past late July.
Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with Stark, also known as Zoey Serrano in the indies. One of the topics discussed included Stark’s thoughts about her release from WWE and revealed Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes had reached out and supported her after her departure.
“Becky was one of the first people that reached out to me and helped me during rehab. When I got released, I would call her…she was one of the first people that I called. I told her immediately. She immediately picked up the phone and was like, ‘This is what I can do for you and let’s figure this out together.’ Becky, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. She still helps me out today. Same thing with CM Punk. He reached out to me throughout my entire rehab journey. He reached out when I got released. To have these friendships that I never thought I would have, those are the moments I hold near and dear. I don’t want to keep name-dropping, but I also don’t want to leave people out. It’s important for people know that everyone there has a heart and they are great people. Cody reached out and helped me with my journey. I posted a video about what is next. He watched the entire thing and helped break everything down. I learned a lot from just from that.”

WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night 1 Ticket Sales Update
WrestleTix reported that WWE has sold and distributed around 37,478 tickets for tonight’s SummerSlam 2026 Night 1 event at the U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota as of Saturday afternoon.
