Pete Dunne’s NXT contract is scheduled to expire soon, according to Fightful Select, with one source saying that it will be after SummerSlam/TakeOver weekend on August 22, though that’s not confirmed.
Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that he won’t re-sign with WWE. Dunne first signed with WWE in 2017.
Another top NXT star, Adam Cole, is also set to become a free agent after SummerSlam weekend.
