Jim Ross tweeted earlier today that he’s been diagnosed with skin cancer and was waiting on a radiologist study to determine the best treatment, but was “feeling great” and did commentary on tonight’s Dynamite.
On my way to Orlando for tonight’s @AEW Dynamite.
Skin cancer confirmed. Waiting on radiologist study to determine best treatment. Likely radiation.
Feeling great and ready to attack.
Thanks for the support from so many. 🙏🤠 pic.twitter.com/51PRET5Mgo

On Thursday, Ross tweeted a photo of his ankle and said that he was getting a growth there checked out.
“Been dealing with this for over a year,” he tweeted. “Potential skin cancer issue. Cat Scan today. Hopeful for good results. Staying positive. 🤠”
Ross has dealt with skin cancer before, saying in 2018 that he underwent surgery to remove a cancer from his shoulder.
