Jake Atlas has officially signed a full-time AEW contract, Tony Khan announced today.
If only everyone knew every detail leading up to this. This means everything to me. Cliché but I REALLY have a lot to prove now. This year, whether you love me or hate me, you’re going to know me. It is what it is. Superstar is back. ✨

Atlas had a tryout match at Dark: Elevation last week, defeating Serpentico. After the match, Khan came out on stage to shake Atlas’s hand.
An indie fan favorite, Atlas signed with NXT in 2019 and was released in August of this year. Shortly after his release and after briefly wrestling in ROH, Atlas said that he was “stepping away from wrestling” because it wasn’t good for his mental health at the time.
