CM Punk underwent surgery earlier this week to repair a torn left triceps that he suffered during his match against Jon Moxley at All Out on Sunday, according to Dave Meltzer.
The surgery typically has about an eight month recovery time, so if he ends up even returning to AEW, it’s not going to be for a while.
Meltzer says that Punk’s doctor recommended surgery right away to prevent muscle atrophy.
Punk suffered the injury while doing a dive to the outside on Moxley early in the match.
