Friday’s AEW Rampage show in Hoffman Estates, Illinois featured one new updated match for the card of All Out 2023, which takes place on September 3rd at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
This new updated match is a ROH World Tag Team Championship match of Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds) vs. MJF & Adam Cole (c).
This match was initially setup during this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show following MJF and Cole’s backstage segment that was taped at this past Sunday’s All In event. MJF revealed that AEW CEO Tony Khan had told him that they would be defending their ROH Tag Team titles at All Out 2023 and against the winner of a Tag Team Battle Royal match at this Friday’s Rampage show.
During tonight’s Rampage show, Dark Order’s Silver & Reynolds outlasted nine other teams to earn a shot at the ROH Tag Team titles at All Out 2023.
The finish to this match involved Reynolds saving Silver from being eliminated and carried him to the steel steps. After an exchange between Trent Beretta and Mark Davis, Beretta eliminated Davis over the ropes from the apron and let down his guard since he thought the match was over only for Silver to rush back into the ring and eliminated Beretta for the victory.
