As noted before, former NWA and Impact Wrestling talent Nick Aldis has been working in a producer tryout role for WWE since this past August.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Aldis is currently scheduled to make his official on-screen debut for WWE at tonight’s SmackDown show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Aldis reportedly will not be an active wrestler and instead will be the new official on-screen authority figure for the SmackDown brand going forward.
Johnson reported that it is currently not known if this is the big announcement that WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque will be making on the show.
