Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources confirmed that Page has recently departed from AEW and ROH. Sapp reported that those spoken to stated that Page is believed to have already left the company or that his departure is a formality.
Sapp reported that Page had been looking to leave the company as early as this past February. Sapp also reported that during his time as a regular in ROH, Page had also increased his number of independent bookings on the side. Besides the increased indie bookings, Page had also recently started reviving his Alpha-1 Wrestling promotion.
In regards to the reason for Page’s absence from ROH in recent months, Sapp reported that the reason was due to ROH officials had delayed and later dropped their plans for Page to feud with Kyle Fletcher for the ROH World Television Championship due to Fletcher’s visa-related issues at the time.
Prior to his departure, Page had last wrestled for ROH this past February and had been with AEW since March of 2021 and ROH since September of 2023.
