IYO SKY Replaces Kairi Sane & Advances in WWE Women’s IC Title Tournament

Monday’s taped WWE RAW show featured IYO SKY replacing Kairi Sane in WWE’s on-going Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament.

During tonight’s show, RAW General Manager revealed that SKY would be replacing Sane due to Sane not being medically cleared to compete following Pure Fusion Collective’s backstage attack on Sane during last week’s show.

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one First Round match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament to crown its inaugural champion.

This match was a Triple Threat match of IYO SKY defeating Alba Fyre and Natalya.

As a result of her victory, SKY will be facing off against Lyra Valkyria in the Semifinal Round of WWE’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament.

New Cyrptic Zero Teaser Video Airs on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured a new cryptic video airing teasing a potential mystery debut for RAW’s upcoming premiere show on Netflix on January 6, 2025.

During the video, the same crossed out zero from last week’s video was shown that was followed by the drawing of a pentagram before the video ended advertising RAW’s upcoming premiere show on Netflix.

This mystery video is currently expected to be for former AEW talent Penta El Zero Miedo’s upcoming official debut in WWE.

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured four new matches for next week’s show on December 30th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Next week’s show is notable for being the final RAW show of the USA Network era.
