It’s interesting to note that the appearances section on WWE.com is listing former WWE wrestler Raven for an event on Saturday, March 28th at the Merchants Square Outlet Mall in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is a non-WWE event called Hardcore Reunion, a wrestling convention not affiliated with the promotion. It will feature Tommy Dreamer and Joey Styles, which explains why it’s being listed. Styles recently posted a blog on the WWE Universe site promoting the event. Raven being listed is somewhat surprising as he recently pursued litigation against World Wrestling Entertainment. However, the case was thrown out last week.
Tickets for WWE’s much anticipated return to the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. went on sale to the public this morning (a pre-sale was held on Thursday). Almost one year to the day of last summer’s show in D.C., WWE will be holding another Monday Night Raw taping on Monday, July 27, 2009.
WWE will be returning to our Nation’s Capital again on November 22th for the 2009 Survivor Series. Presumably, tickets for the event will go on sale a few days after the July Raw taping.
