As noted before, Omos recently announced that his time in Pro Wrestling NOAH is over and he will be returning back to WWE. Omos had relinquished his half of the GHC Tag Team Championship and gave his title belt to Daga to take over as tag champions with Jack Morris but this was not officially recognized by NOAH who vacated the titles instead.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the backstage reaction within WWE over Omos’ run in NOAH was positive. Those spoken to stated that WWE officials were impressed with Omos’ work in NOAH and his willingness to go to Japan.
It was reported that Omos is currently scheduled to be in Indianapolis, Indiana for this weekend’s Royal Rumble 2025 event in the city.
It was also reported that while it has not been confirmed Omos will be competing in the Men’s Royal Rumble match, WWE officials have recently held talks regarding that being a possibility.
