As noted before, former WCW wrestler and Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve “Mongo” McMichael has been battling several health related issues in recent years including his current battle with ALS since April of 2021.
WGN News’ Anna Roberts reported that one source spoken to stayed that McMichael’s battle with ALS recently took a turn for the worst.
Michael reported is being taken off a ventilator in the ICU and will be entering hospice care.
McMichael was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this past August but was unable to travel due to his health situation and a special ceremony was held at his home in Ohio to celebrate his induction.
