Drew McIntyre Says He’s Working Hurt After Backlash 2025 Table Spot
As noted before, Drew McIntyre was “banged up” following a table breaking spot that involved McIntyre landing rough and clutching his head at WWE’s Backlash 2025 event earlier this month.
The Orlando Sentinel held a recent interview with McIntyre. One of the topics discussed included McIntyre revealing that he is still dealing with head-related issues and is working hurt ahead of his Steel Cage match against Damian Priest at this Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Tampa, Florida.
“I can’t turn my head all the way left yet. Working hurt is just what happens if you’re an athlete, especially as the years go by. If you’re injured, it is something to take care of. Maybe back in the day, we would have taped it up and gone with it. In the past, I have worked with muscle tears and breaks, which isn’t the most sensible thing, but the way we operate now, you want to last for the long run.”
