Jordynne Grace Comments on “Every Sacrifice I’ve Made’ has Led to WWE”
Yahoo Sports held a recent interview with Jordynne Grace. One of the topics discussed included Grace’s thoughts about how everything she has done for her career has led to being able to achieve her dream of joining WWE.
“It’s what I’ve been working toward, I feel like, the past 15 years. Every sacrifice I’ve made, every win, every loss, every title I won at TNA has come down to finally being able to live [my] dream as a WWE champion,” Grace said.
Grace also gave her thoughts about her current goal for her career in WWE.
“I want to be the one to give whoever comes in front of me their best match, no matter what. … I always ask the person I’m wrestling with, ‘What was your favorite match?’ They would tell me, I’d be like, ‘We’re going to have a better match than that. We’re going to say it right now and we’re going to speak it into existence.’ That’s what I always want to be for that person.”
Grace also gave her thoughts about her departure from TNA Wrestling and talks she had with TNA management about who would take over as the new face of the Knockouts division.
“I remember having the conversation about who I thought would be next. Honestly, they didn’t have Masha’s name in their head at all, which surprised me, but I really [feel] that Masha was the one. … I don’t know any of the people that are really in charge, I don’t have a relationship with them. But at the time, I don’t think that her independent work and GCW work was translating over to TNA in the Knockouts Division. They didn’t get it. It didn’t click for them.
But I knew how good she was, and I knew how important it was for her to be the one to be the next … leader of that locker room.”
Backstage Update on Luke Jacobs Potential Signing Status with WWE
As noted before, current PROGRESS World Champion Luke Jacobs was among those who had attended and participated in WWE’s talent tryouts this past March in London, England. Jacobs was not expected to be among those signed to WWE following the tryouts.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan reported that one source spoken to confirmed that Jacobs had been informed during PROGRESS’ recent Super Strong Style 16 2025 weekend that he has not been signed by WWE at the time.
Those spoken to close to the situation reportedly stated that Jacobs had “massively impressed” WWE officials during the tryout and drew comparisons to Goldenboy Santos who is another talent expected to remain on WWE’s radar. Brennan reported that despite Jacobs not being signed at this time, he is still viewed within WWE as a strong candidate for a signing in the future.
Demolition Comments on Their WWE Legends Deal Being for Six Years
As noted before, Demolition Smash and Demolition Ax confirmed this past April that they are currently under Legends deals with WWE.
A recent episode of the Wrestling Life with Beal Veal podcast featured Demolition as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Ax stating that their current WWE Legends deals are for six years in length.
“We were approached by a friend of ours, a number of guys; Koko B Ware was one of them. Tito Santana. They had told us that they had been approached and made an appearance. Then, we got a call from the office and they were discussing various things, including signing a contract, which would include making some appearances, action figures. Various action figures, not only Demolition but Repo Man, Krusher Khruschev, Masked Superstar, and The Machines. The way they presented it, it sounded interesting and that it could possibly be very lucrative for us. Make some appearances and possible DVDs and other things. Right now, we’re in a wait and see. They did announce some action figures coming out at WrestleCon, which got a positive response. We signed a contract over multiple years, I believe it was for six years. We’ll see what the next six years, or five-and-a-half years, leads to.”
