Chris Jericho Comments on His AEW & Wrestling Career Future
As noted before, Chris Jericho’s contract with AEW is currently set to expire by the end of 2025. Jericho has been absent from AEW since this past April.
A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured Jericho as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Jericho’s thoughts about his top best moments of his wrestling career and him leaving the fifth spot open for whatever is next in his career. Jericho listed his WWE debut, the Festival of Friendship in WWE, “A little bit of the bubbly” in AEW, and Dinner Debonair in AEW as four of his top five moments.
“That’s the way I always think of it. ‘What’s your favorite moment of your career?’ Current, now. If I didn’t think it was the best, then why am I doing it? You always want to say that your next match and next show will be your best one. That’s the way you should look at things. We leave the space blank and we’ll see what happens.”
Jericho also gave his thoughts about the future of his wrestling career and what is next for him.
“We don’t know, right? We’ll just have to see.”

Tony Khan Comments on Jon Moxley Being One of Most Important People in AEW
A recent episode of the Dirt Sheet Radio podcast featured AEW CEO Tony Khan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about Jon Moxley being one of the most important people backstage in AEW and in AEW history.
“It’s incredible. Jon Moxley since day one has been one of the most important stars in AEW, but backstage Jon Moxley is also, as you’ve correctly assessed, one of the most important people backstage in AEW. Everybody in AEW has so much respect for Jon Moxley and he arrived in AEW as a huge star, since we started AEW, he’s been the most consistent presence on the show week in, week out on all of our shows. Jon Moxley works so hard. He’s a phenomenal wrestler. He’s a phenomenal leader. He’s a genius about pro wrestling, and Jon Moxley is one of my favorite people I’ve ever gotten to work with. I’m really, really proud that Jon Moxley is in AEW, I think. He was a fantastic world champion time after time after time in AEW. Everything he’s done in his company has been to the benefit of AEW and Jon Moxley’s a phenomenal, phenomenal wrestler.”
