As noted before, Raja Jackson, son of former UFC fighter Quintin “Rampage” Jackson, was involved in an incident over him legit assaulting a pro wrestler named Syko Stu, real name Stuart Smith, at an event for KnokX Pro Wrestling this past August. Stu was released from the hospital this past August and has been recovering at his home. Jackson was arrested and charged with a felony this past September that was later revealed to be one count of felony battery.
TMZ held a recent interview with former KnokX Pro wrestler Douglas Malo, who was one of the wrestlers who had intervened to stop Jackson’s attack. One of the topics discussed included Malo’s thoughts about Stu’s in-ring wrestling career is over due to the injuries he had sustained from Jackson’s attack.
“His close friend that I talked to that’s throwing this [benefit] event said that Stu’s done with any ring work.
And then I also know about some of the stuff that he was dealing with from when I talked to his wife last and his friends, I don’t think being in the ring would work ever again.”
That was a lot of damage he received, plus what he was already dealing with. You know, he wasn’t necessarily a spring chicken before the event. So I don’t know.”
Malo also gave his thoughts about him thinking it would be a cool idea to do an angle where Stu makes a save for him in a reversal of the situation that happened to Stu but he does not know if that would be a smart idea to do due to Stu’s health situation.
“That was a lot of damage he received, plus what he was already dealing with. You know, he wasn’t necessarily a spring chicken before the event. So I don’t know.”
