TNA Bound For Glory 2025 Notes Part I: Steve Maclin Wins TNA International Title, Nic Nemeth & Frankie Kazarian Wins Call Your Shot Gauntlet, Guido, Zack Clayton, DarkState, Chris Bey, & Brother Runt (Spike Dudley) Appears, New TNA Attendance Record

Steve Maclin Wins TNA International Title

Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts featured Steve Maclin defeating Frankie Kazarian to become the new TNA International Champion.

This was Maclin’s second TNA International Championship victory in his TNA career.


Nic Nemeth & Frankie Kazarian Wins Call Your Shot Gauntlet

Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event also featured Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian winning this year’s Call Your Shot Gauntlet match.

Kazarian and Nemeth were the final two remaining in the match meaning the rules of the match turned into a regular singles match. This match ended after Kazarian and Nemeth pinned each other at the same time and the two match referees counted the pinfall on each other. After some dilberation with TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella, it was announced that Kazarian and Nemeth were both officially declared as the winners.

The competitors of this match in order were Lei Ying Lee, Mara Sadè, Ryan Nemeth, Nic Nemeth, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann, AJ Francis, Saint, BDE, The Rascalz (Myron Reed, Trey Miguel, & Zachary Wentz), Dani Luna, Eric Young, Jake Something, Rosemary, The Home Town Man, Zack Clayton, Frankie Kazarian, Santino Marella, Matt Cardona, and Mance Warner

Jody Threat had came out as the #17 competitor only to be laid out by Kazarian during her entrance and Kazarian stealing her spot in the match.

As a result of their victory, Nemeth and Kazarian can challenge for any title at any place in TNA for up to one year.


Gudio & Zack Clayton Make Surprise Appearances

Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event also featured the Full Blooded Italians (FBI) Gudio and Zack Clayton making a surprise return.

Guido and Clayton made their surprise appearance during the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match with Gudio accompanying Clayton who was the #16 entrant.


DarkState Makes Surprise Appearance

Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event also featured NXT’s DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, & Osiris Griffin) making a surprise appearance.

Following the TNA X-Division Championship match between Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater reaching a 20-minute time limit draw, an angry crowd chanted “bullshit” over the draw announcement. This led to TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella coming out and announced that the match will continue with a five minute over time, which the crowd cheered in happiness over it.

During the overtime portion of the match, Evans hit a Spanish Fly to Slater and went for a pinfall attempt only for the lights to go out. This led to DarkState’s music playing and them running out from the crowd and proceeded to attack both Slater and Evans resulting in the referee calling for the bell.


TNA Announces New All-Time North American Attendance Record

Saturday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event also featured Chris Bey making a surprise appearance.

During the show, Bey’s entrance music played and he came out to the stage. After some words, Bey announced that he was handed a paper by TNA and stated that this year’s Bound For Glory event broke the all-time record for largest ever attendance for a TNA event in North America at 7,749.


Brother Runt (Spike Dudley) Makes Surprise Appearance

Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event also featured Brother Runt, former Spike Dudley in WWE and ECW, making a surprise appearance.

Prior to the start of the Tables match for the TNA World Tag Team and WWE NXT Tag Team Championships, Team 3D (Bully Ray & D-Von) made their entrance to the ring. As they were walking out, Brother Runt made a surprise appearance and embraced Team 3D and handed both of them their iconic glasses before leaving to the back.
