In-Ring: Hangman Adam Page

The music of Hangman Page hits, as the AEW Men’s World Champion walks to the ring with purpose. The fans give up a big ovation as he has a mic in hand.

Page says you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself as the villain. Page calls out The Opps and talks about how they fought the death riders. Page says he owes him for being able to get the title off Jon Moxley and for that he is thankful, which is why he gave Joe a shot a the world title and at WrestleDream, he beat him. Page says that Joe was embarrassed that big bad Samoa Joe couldn’t kill the Hangman and that The Opps stabbed him in the back. Hangman says The Opps have become the very thing they fought against and that Joe should have known better that he was not going to beat the Hangman and that all three of the The Opps should have known better to make an enemy out of Hangman. Page then says he is hunting Joe and he is the champion of the world and he is going to find Joe in the exact moment…Page says that when he finds him he will ruin his entire life.

Hangman’s music hits as the fans chant cowboy s—, as Page leaves the ring.


Video: Death Riders

We go to an earlier tonight vignette from PAC with the rest of the Death Riders in the background, as they are all outside in the back of the venue. He tells Tomohiri Ishii they dominate AEW whether he likes it or not.


PAC vs. Tomohiro Ishii

The music of PAC hits, as the Death Riders, minus Moxley come from the back of the venue, through the crowd and to the ring.

Next up, is the music of Tomohiro Ishii as they show a Conglomeration sitcom vignette on the big screens. The NJPW Never Openweight Champion makes his way to the ring.

The bell rings as we are underway. Both men lock up as PAC pushes Ishii to the ropes and then chops him. PAC attempts a shoulder tackle on Ishii, but he doesn’t go down. PAC grabs Ishii from behind as Ishii rolls him up for just a two count. Both men lock up again as PAC pushes Ishii to the corner and then takes down Ishii with a side headlock. Ishii breaks the hold as PAC attempts another shoulder tackle, but Ishii won’t budge. Ishii picks up PAC and slams him down. PAC rolls to the floor. Ishii follows. Garcia distracts Ishii, allowing PAC to hit Ishii from behind. PAC then distracts the ref, allowing Garcia to pound on Ishii. Garcia sends Ishii back in the ring. PAC then sends Ishii into the corner and then stomps on Ishii, then putting a boot to the face, as the ref starts the five count. PAC has a side headlock on Ishii, but he breaks the hold. Both men exchange blows. PAC kicks Ishii and then follows up with a big elbow to the face of Ishii, as he goes down in the center of the ring. PAC goes to the top and connects on Ishii with a big shotgun dropkick. PAC taunts the fans.

Back from the break, PAC chops Ishii in the corner, but it has no effect on him, as Ishii fires back with chops of his own. Ishii drops PAC with a lariat. Ishii picks up PAC and puts him on the top rope. Ishii picks up PAC and drops him with with a big suplex. Ishii covers PAC for only a two count. Ishii is up as he signal for a a lariat. Ishii hits the ropes, but PAC blocks a lariat attempt. Ishii headbutts PAC and then powerbombs him, covers him for only a two count. The ref checks on Ishii’s left shoulder. PAC uses the ropes to drop Ishii and attempts to pick him up, as Ishii blocks a German Suplex attempt…Ishii comes back and German Suplexes Ishii…PAC comes back with a German Suplex of his own, as Ishii drops PAC with a big lariat. Both men go down.

The ref begins the ten count…Ishii gets up at seven. PAC nails Ishii with a big forearm. Ishii fires back. Ishii runs the ropes as Marina grabs his leg and then spits on him. PAC then nails Ishii from behind, German Suplexes him and then covers him, but Ishii kicks out at two. The fans begin an Ishii chant. PAC runs the ropes, but is caught with a huge lariat by Ishii…PAC then comes back and drops Ishii with a brain buster. PAC covers Ishii, but he kicks out at two. PAC sends Ishii to the floor. Wheeler Yuta connects with a big knee on Ishii and then sends him back into the ring. PAC then connects on Ishii with a running lariat and covers him for the win.

Winner: PAC via Pinfall.


Thekla vs. Mina Shirakawa

The bell rings as we are underway. Mina dances around, mocking Thekla. Mina kicks Thekla as she charges at her. Thekla fires back as Mina comes off the ropes, kicking Thekla, then following up with a dropkick as Thekla gets up. Mina grabs Thekla and has her in a bow and arrow submission hold. Mina then stomps on the hand of Thekla. Mina then stomps on the left knee of Thekla. Mina runs at Thekla, who then covers Mina and slithers out of the pin attempt. Mina, with her back turned, mocks Thekla, allowing her to hit Mina from behind, taking control. Thekla grabs the hair of Mina and tosses her. Thekla then kicks Mina in the head. Mina falls back and Thekla covers Mina for only a two count. Thekla then mocks Mina, which allows Mina to take down Thekla. Mina then works on the left knee of Thekla. Mina then nails Thekla as Julia Hart and Skye Blue comes out and slowly make their way down to the ring. Mina gets distracted, allowing Thekla to hits Mina in the back of the head, sending her to the floor.

Back from the break, Thekla grabs the face of Mina and then picks her up. Thekla kicks Mina and then distracts the ref, allowing Hart and Blue to grab the head of Mina. Thekla kicks Mina, but she comes back with a slingblade, a running lariat and a high knee on the Toxic Spider. Thekla goes down as Mina comes over the top with a tornado, landing on Thekla. Mina then lays in big rights. Thekla then reverses it and nails Mina across the face. Mina comes back and hits Thekla with a backfist and covers her for only a two count. Mina goes to the top rope, but Thekla comes back with a big right hand to the side of the head of Mina. Both ladies are on the top rope, exchanging slaps to the face. Thekla strikes Mina and then tosses Mina down, handing on the the ropes with her legs and feet. Thekla is caught with a running knee by Mina. Mina then hits Thekla with a big backfist and cover Thekla for only a two count. Mina goes to the top rope, as Thekla is up. Mina drops Thekla with a sling blade and covers her, but Thekla kicks out at two. Blue and Hart are up on the apron, as Mina sends them to the floor. As Mina turns around she is hit by a spear from Thekla, who then applies the death trap. Mina taps out.

Winner: Thekla via Submission.


Backstage: TayJay, Nixon Newell, Miranda Alize

We go backstage with Lexy Nair talking to Anna Jay and Tey Melo who have been selected to participate in the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament. They are interrupted by Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize, who challenge Jay and Melo to a match that is accepted.


MxM TV Casting Call Open Challenge Match
Taya Valkyrie vs. Olympia

Next up, is the music of MxM TV as Taya Valkyrie, Johnny TV and Mason Madden and Mansoor make their way out to the ring. Mansoor calls the fans names and tells the fans to shut as MxM is doing their casting call. Mansoor then insults the fans about gaining weight. He then insults ring announcer Arkady Aura. Its a singles match as CMLL’s Olympia music hits as Taya doesn’t like what she sees.

The bell rings as Taya hypes herself up and shoves Olympia, who then sends Taya to the corner. Olympia works on Taya in the corner and then covers Taya for only a one count. Olympia comes back with elbows to the face of Taya. Olympia charges at Taya who gets a foot up. Taya then leaps into the arms of MxM as Olympia goes to the top and comes down off the top rope, taking everyone down, but Taya who leaps off before Olympia connects. Taya goes back in the ring as Olympia picks up her and drops her and covers her for the three count.

Winner: Olympia via Pinfall.

We go to breaking news about Wednesday’s AEW Fright Night, four-way fight consisting of Bobby Lashley, Ricochet, HOOK and Samoa Joe. The winner will be the No. 1 contender for the world title at Full Gear.


Bryan Keith vs. Ace Austin

Next up is the music of Bryan Keith, as he makes his way to the ring.

After a vignette of how we got to this match, Ace Austin’s music hits, as he makes his way with Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn.

The bell rings as we are underway. Keith trash talks Ace as both men then lock up, with Ace sending Keith to the corner. We get a clean break. Ace locks up the arm of Keith, who turns it into a side headlock. Keith breaks the hold, then chops Ace, but he takes down Keith with a big kick. As Keith is up, Ace dropkicks him, then chops him. Ace is on the apron, then comes off the ropes as a springboard, landing on Keith, who rolls to the outsider. Ace follows and then then sends Keith into the apron. Both men exchange chops and kicks, as Ace sends Keith into the ring, but he rolls to the floor. Ace then connects with a running PK on Keith, who goes down on the floor. Ace goes to the floor, chops Keith and sends him to back into the ring. Keith distracts the ref, then turns around and picks up Ace, sending him t the floor. Keith then goes to the floor, grabs the face of Austin.

Back from the break, Ace fires back on Keith with forearms shots. Keith tries for an exploder, but Ace counters and rolls up Keith for only a two count. Ace then sends Keith down with a lariat and then a Russian Leg Sweep as Keith gets up…Ace covers Keith for only a two count. Ace picks up Keith and hits the ropes, but Keith connects with a headbutt on Ace right on the jaw. Keith covers Ace, but he kicks out at two. Keith picks up Ace, but he counters, only to be nailed with a forearm by Ace. Keith is up, but Ace connects with a kick off the ropes and then the fold, covering Keith for the win.

Winner: Ace Austin via Pinfall.


Backstage: Don Callis

We go backstage with Lexy Nair asking Don Callis about what is going on between Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada. Callis asks Lexy if she has siblings that don’t get along…Callis says Takeshita and Okada take orders from him. Wednesday will be the Don Callis Family Summit. Callis says he will get a Nobel Peace Prize for it.


Backstage: The Outrunner, Dalton Castle, Max Caster, Anthony Bowens

Back from the the break, Lexy Nair is with The Outrunners and Dalton Castle. Lexy asks them what their secret sauce is for going undefeated. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens are arguing out of the scene. The Outrunners and Castle walk over asking what their issue is…Caster and Bowens leave. They try again, as Lexy says they are live…Dalton says that is the secret to their success.


Griff Garrison vs. HOOK

Back in the venue, The Frat House comes out, as we get ready for our next match.

Next up is the music of HOOK, who comes out with Eddie Kingston. He greets the fans at ringside.

The bell rings as HOOK takes down Griff. HOOK picks up Griff and tosses him over his head, sending Griff to the floor. Griff gets back in the ring, but HOOK takes him down. The rest of the Frat House distracts the ref, allowing him to hit HOOK and then drop him. HOOK then takes down Griff with several lariats and then a double axe handle on the head. HOOK picks up Griff with an overhead toss. HOOK applies the redrum and Griff quickly taps out.

Winner: HOOK via Submission.

After the match, Kingston hits the ring with a chair, making sure the rest of The Frat House stay out.


Backstage: Olympia

We go backstage with CMLL’s Olympia challenging Mercedes’ Mone’ for the CMLL Women’s Championship on next week’s Collision.

The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) & FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) & Jurassic Express (Jack Perry & Luchasaurus)

We go back to the venue, with the music of FTR, who come out with Stokley and the Young Bucks.

Next up, the music of JetSpeed who are out next. The music of Jurassic Express is next as the fans sing along with the entrance music. Cash Wheeler is shown tearing up a Jurassic Express sign from a fan and then blowing his nose with it. Funny stuff. FTR pops a beach ball brought out by Jack Perry.

The bell rings, as we are underway…Nick Jackson takes down Kevin Knight who is quick to get up and dropkicks Nick. Matt blind tags himself him. The Bucks double team Knight. Bailey is tagged in as JetSpeed double team the Bucks. Cash Wheeler is tagged in. He connects with an uppercut on Bailey. Speedball fires back with rapid fire kicks on Cash and then tags in Jack Perry. Cash picks up Perry, but he roles him up for only a two count. Dax Harwood is tagged in. Perry paint brushes the face of Dax and tags in the big dinosaur. We get a Luchasaurus chant. The ref gets distracted, allowing FTR and the Bucks to stomp on Lucha. FTR attempt the double team on Lucha, but he takes down both Dax and Cash. Perry is in as he takes down both Nick and Matt. Bailey in up the top rope, coming down with a missile drop kick on Nick. Knight then connects with a missile drop kick of his own. Lucha then connects on Dax with a standing moonsault and covers Dax for only a two count.

Back from the break, Perry and Cash are down in the ring. The Bucks and Cash send Lucha and JetSpeed to the floor. Cash then takes down Lucha on the floor…Dax has a sharpshooter on Perry in the ring. Nick comes off the ropes, landing on Perry. Lucha breaks up the hold on Perry. Cash runs at Perry, but hits the ring post. Knight is tagged in. He takes down Nick and then lands on him with a UFO Splash. FTR come in, but are sent down by JetSpeed with double dropkicks. Matt is sent to the floor. JetSpeed then land on him with an over the top springboard. Knight rolls Matt back in the ring. Knight goes to the top, but then comes down, but Matt moves. Knight sends Matt down, as Bailey catches him with a powerbomb and covers him for only a two count. Stokley tosses powder in the eyes of Knight as the ref was distracted. Matt kicks Knight and covers him, but Knight kicks out. Nick is tagged in and takes down Knight with a running knee strike.

Back from the final break, Cash is taken down by a big powerbomb from Knight. Cash makes the tag to Dax who then hits Knight with a back elbow and then a lariat. Knight is up and dropkicks Dax. Knight makes the tag to Lucha who lays rights into Dax and then double clotheslines the Bucks and FTR! Perry is back in as Lucha picks up Perry and sends him into the Bucks, taking them down. Dax superplexes Lucha, as Cash lands on Lucha, then the Bucks…FTR hits a double shatter machine on JetSpeed. Lucha is left in the ring. FTR and the Bucks go for an EVP Trigger, but Lucha moves. Lucha takes out the Bucks, with Dax being double teamed by Jurassic Express. Knight is up on the top rope. He comes down with a huge UFO on Dax. Bailey covers Cash. The ref makes the three count as Jurassic Express and JetSpeed pick up the win and the $400K.

Winner: JetSpeed & Jurassic Express via Pinfall.

After the match, Perry hands some money to Nick. Perry then chases Stokley who leaps over the stands. Its then announced that these teams will meet on Wednesday, with the winners getting a world tag team title shot at Full Gear.
