Tonight’s WWE RAW show at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts is currently scheduled to feature John Cena opening the show for his last appearance in Boston for his retirement tour from his wrestling career.
Bodyslam.net reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently have plans in place for Cena to compete in a championship match on the show.
These plans reportedly involve Cena issuing a challenge to Dominik Mysterio for his WWE Intercontinental Championship and the two competing in a match afterwards on the show.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer had previously reported that WWE officials had plans at the time for Cena to win the Intercontinental Championship and defend it at his retirement match on the December 13th WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show.
