As noted before, TNA announced that their Bound For Glory 2025 event on October 12th at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts had set a new all-time company record for largest ever attendance for a TNA event in North America at 7,749.
Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that recent documents obtained from University of Massachusetts Lowell revealed a different official attendance figure for TNA’s event.
Thurston reported that venue operator Oak View Group had listed 5,554 tickets sold and a turnsil count of 6,137 for TNA’s event. The venue reportedly also had verified that it was a record attendance for a sporting event at the venue.
In a statement to Wrestlenomics, Oak View Group’s District General Manager Keith Vaske stated that the capacity for the event was 7,484 and it included 243 premium seats. Thurston reported that this was higher than the listed capacity of 7,241 for the event.
In an official statement, TNA spokeperson Ross Forman explained the reason for the difference in the number compared to what the company had announced.
“Beyond our ticketed attendees, we also had many seats and standing room only occupied by TNA credentialed guests, media, staff, VIPs, and other groups that brought the total attendance to 7,794.”
Forman also stated that 225 arena workers were not included in TNA’s officially tally for the event.
In regards to live gate revenue, Thurston reported that this year’s Bound For Glory event drew a live gate of $390,348. An additional $122,156 was generated from food and beverage and was stated by the venue to be among the highest ever for a sporting event. Tsongas Center reportedly charged TNA a $45,000 rental fee to use their venue.
