As noted before, TNA Wrestling is currently seeking a new media rights deal for around $10 million per year. TNA has been in talks with A&E and The CW for a potential new broadcast home for the company.
Sports Illustrated’s Jon Alba reported that high-ranking sources within the television industry stated that TNA is currently expected to announce a new media rights deal by the end of 2025 if not sooner.
Alba reported that cable television network AMC has recently emerged as a potential landing spot for this new deal for TNA programming.
Should AMC secure the deal, this would be the first time ever that pro wrestling programming would air on the network.
TNA President Carlos Silva had announced this past July that the company was in a 60 to 90 day window from announcing a new media rights deal. Matt Hardy had stated in an episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast this past October that he had heard that a new deal would arrive by the end of 2025 to early 2026.
