As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair had claimed in a recent interview with the Double Coverag3 podcast that Hulk Hogan’s, real name Terry Bollea, death was caused by “street drugs” after his doctors would not prescribe him anymore medication. Flair later clarified his comments claiming that this was something that he had heard from Hogan’s family members after his passing.
TMZ held a recent interview with Hogan’s widow Sky Daily. One of the topics discussed included Daily denying Flair’s claims about “street drugs” being the cause of Hogan’s death.
“That didn’t happen at all.”
Daily also denied that Flair had spoken with Hogan the day before his death.
In regards to Hogan’s medication, Daily stated that the only change was to ensure whatever he was taking did not impact his lungs after his neck procedure.
“Sky said the only changes to Hogan’s medication came following his neck procedure to ensure whatever he was taking did not impact his lungs.”
TMZ reported that two other members of Hogan’s family also denied the claims made by Flair and stated that it was completely untrue.
