TNA Talents React to TNA’s New TV Deal with AMC

As noted before, TNA Wrestling announced earlier today that they have recently signed a new multi-year television deal with cable television network AMC that goes into effect on January 15, 2026.

Following the announcement, many TNA talents and officials reacted on social media over their joy of the company’s new television deal.

Brian Myers Comments on Possibly Replacing JDC in The System & JDC’s In-Ring Retirement Announcement

3W Wrestling held a recent interview with The System’s Brian Myers. One of the topics discussed included Myers’ thoughts about JDC’s recent announcement of him retiring from his in-ring wrestling career at TNA Genesis 2026 and the possibility of the group replacing JDC after he retires.

“That’s something that he’s mentioned, he’s irreplaceable. Especially the kind of person that he is and the presence that he brings, definitely irreplaceable. That said, I’m not completely against it. There will be a void and I’ll try to keep an open mind and heart to see what the replacement potential could be, I guess you just never know. He’s still in The System for the next two months so I’m not concerned about that just yet.”

Myers also gave his thoughts about how JDC’s recent retirement announcement was something that he had been discussing for some time and how the group knew the decision was weighing on him.

“It’s something that he’s been discussing for quite a while now. I think getting married and his wife had a big part in the decision making. We knew that it was weighing on him, but we didn’t know exactly when or if he was actually going to pull the trigger if you will. When he said it on TV, we knew but I guess the finality of it really did set it live on TV because you can’t take that back, he said it. It’s all sinking in and becoming real, it’s going to get really emotional the next two months that he’s with us but I’m going to soak it all up because he’s one of my best friends and one of the best ever to do this and one of the best people I’ve ever met in the business. I’m gonna make sure it’s a memorable run for sure.”

Mike Santana Comments on His TNA World Title Loss at Nov. 13th TNA Impact! Show

As noted before, the November 13th live TNA Impact! show at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida featured Frankie Kazarian cashing in his Call Your Shot trophy and defeating Mike Santana to become the new TNA World Champion. This show was notable for being TNA’s first show after taking a month off and for Santana’s first show and title defense match as champion.

BCP+ held a recent interview with Santana. One of the topics discussed included Santana’s thoughts about his TNA World Championship loss and his very brief reign as champion.

“It was tough. I said it in the promo, ’30 days ago I was at the highest point of my career and life aside from my daughter being born. 30 days later, it was all swiped from me.’ If there’s one thing I’ve learned about myself, it’s that I thrive in those trenches. David Goggins used to say this thing where he would build himself up to the highest point that he can, and then he would purposely knock himself down. It’s in that grind where character and real strength is built. I feel like that. In pro wrestling, it’s up and down. You gotta love it when it’s good and bad. That’s what separates good from great. I love this, and I’m going to continue to love it. This is how I feed my daughter and how I give her an amazing life. There are going to be times where things happen, and I’m not going to like it. Thankfully, I’m at a point in my life where I have learned a set of tools to help me maneuver through the good times and bad. That night was one of those moments where I had to take to myself, get myself in check, and make sure I put those tools to work. Thankfully, I did. If there is one thing I realize, it’s that sobriety has given me more than active addiction ever will. I have a very healthy fear of that person that I was. I know where that person is leading me, and it’s nowhere nice. I just keep going. One day at a time.”
