Gunther Says He Will Make John Cena Tap Out in His Final Match

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri featured The Winner Is Now Tournament victor Gunther addressing his upcoming match against John Cena at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show on December 13th in Washington, D.C.

Gunther came out to the ring and talked about his upcoming match against Cena and proclaim that not only will he beat Cena in his retirement match, he will make him do something he’s never done before by forcing him to give up.

NXT’s Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans, & Sol Ruca Makes Surprise Appearance

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured current NXT Champion Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans, and Sol Ruca making a surprise appearance.

Prior to the start of the singles match between IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, Femi was shown in the front row of the crowd and held up his NXT title.

Prior to the start of the WWE World Tag Team Championship match between War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) and Dragon Lee & AJ Styles, Evans was shown in the front row of the crowd.

Prior to the start of the singles match between Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez, Ruca was shown in the front row of the crowd.

Mystery Masked Person Makes Surprise Return & Attacks Rey Mysterio and LA Knight

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the same mystery masked hooded attacker from this past November’s Survivor Series WarGames 2025 event making a surprise return.

During the show, Rey Mysterio came out for his scheduled match against Finn Balor. This led to Logan Paul running out before Mysterio could reach the ring and a brawl broke out between the two. This brawl ended with the mystery masked hooded person running out from the crowd and attacked Mysterio before Mysterio could hit a 619 to Paul. This mystery person then hit a curb stomp to Mysterio and quickly bolted out of the ring and through the crowd while being chased by security.

Back in the ring, Paul laid out Mysterio with a brass knuckles shot only for LA Knight to run out in a super late save attempt and chased Paul out of the ring. Knight grabbed the microphone and berated Paul for what he did and demanded a match tonight against Paul.

In a follow-up segment, the mystery masked hooded person returned during the singles match between LA Knight and Logan Paul. This mystery person ran out from the crowd and attacked Knight hitting a curb stomp while the referee was distracted. This mystery person then tossed Knight back into the ring and ran off through the crowd again. This led to Paul hitting a top rope splash to Knight for the pinfall victory.

This same mystery masked hooded person had previously helped The Vision win their Men’s WarGames match against Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, The Usos, and Roman Reigns.

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater Announced for Dec. 13th WWE SNME Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show on December 13th at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

This new match announced was a tag team match of AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater.
