Vince McMahon Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Update – Judge Orders Dr. Carlon Colker To Show How Vince McMahon Paid for Janel Grant’s Medical Bills

As noted before, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit in January of 2024 against former WWE/TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon accusing McMahon of committing sex trafficking and sexual abuse towards her during her time in the company. Grant filed a new amended lawsuit this past February detailing new evidence and claims against McMahon, WWE, and others. Grant had also a filed petition against a WWE Wellness doctor named Carlon Colker and his clinic in July of 2024 for medical records related to her lawsuit, which was court ordered to be released this past August. Colker filed a motion earlier this month requesting for several hundred documents related to Grant’s bill of discovery against him and his Peak Wellness clinic to be court sealed.

Post Wrestling’s Brandon Thurston and Jason Ounpraseuth reported that a Connecticut judge, Judge David Bothwell, issued an order this past Monday for Colker to provide payment records to Grant that show how McMahon had paid for her medical treatment at his clinic.

Thurston and Ounpraseuth reported that this ruling was made as part of a pre-suit action filed by Grant seeking evidence to investigate the possibility of bringing a separate lawsuit against Colker and his clinic.

Colker’s attorney Frank Silvestri reportedly told the court that Grant’s treatments were paid for by McMahon with his credit card that was on file at the clinic but claimed that no records of how McMahon paid the bills exist. Silvestri reportedly also questioned the significance of the payment details and argued that the fact McMahon referred Grant to the clinic and offered to cover the costs did not imply anything improper happened.

In his ruling, Judge Bothwell stated that he found it “hard to believe that a doctor is maintaining billing records without any indication of who paid those bills.” Judge Bothwell also stated that he would issue a written order this week requiring Colker to comply with the earlier directive to produce payment records and to engage in a “good faith effort” to communicate with Grant’s legal team and locate the payment records in dispute.

Colker’s attorneys reportedly had expressed concern over Grant’s requests relating to claims about trips to Tijuana, Mexico over their claim of wanting to protect McMahon’s medical information.

Colker reportedly has within 35 days to produce the documents requested by Grant.
