RJ City Explains Decision to End AEW Hey! (EW) YouTube Series
As noted before, AEW held the final episode of their AEW Hey Ew! digital series earlier this month.
A recent episode of the AEW Unrestricted podcast featured RJ City as the guest. One of the topics discussed included City’s thoughts about the reasons for his decision to end his YouTube digital series.
“I think I just ran it into the ground and said, ‘Well, I think we’ve reached our destination.’ We did four years, we did 165 episodes. As I said in the episode, we were down to the nose and the assh*les. I don’t know if you’re familiar with this, but it’s very hard to get guests.
Then I’m like, I don’t know if I want to have people on again. I don’t know if I want to do a second Eddie Kingston one, and the people are like, ‘It’s not as good as the first.’”
City also gave his thoughts about one of the goals for his digital series was to highlight guests who normally don’t get featured for longer-form interviews.
“It was a really nice place to see people talk who don’t really get a chance to talk at that kind of length, at that kind of speed, and then they do a really good job. I mean, obviously, there’s people like Dalton [Castle] and Mark Briscoe, where you’re like, ‘This is going to be easy.’ But then there’s other people like Jamie Hayter, who I’d never seen that side of her before. She was just down for the filth from the beginning.”
City also gave his thoughts about how he felt about stopping his YouTube series.
“As I’ve gotten older, I realize it’s good to be sad about things. It’s good to end something and be sad about it [and] go, ‘That was good’ and end it while it was good.”

MVP Comments on Future of His Wrestling Career & Retirement Plans
CHGO Sports held a recent interview with MVP. One of the topics discussed included MVP’s thoughts about the future of his wrestling career and potential retirement plans.
“I told him (Bobby Lashley), man, ‘I said, at this stage in my career, I feel great,’ because I haven’t officially retired yet. As long as the Hurt Syndicate is active, I’m not going to retire so that I can lace up the boots when we need a third. But I said, man, I got the best job in the world. My friends beat people up and I talk about it. Best job in the world. I don’t even have to wrestle.”

Four New Matches Announced for Dec. 20th AEW Collision Holiday Bash 2025 Show
AEW announced four new matches announced for this week’s Collision Holiday Bash 2025 show on Saturday, December 20th.
This upcoming show was taped on Wednesday, December 17th at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England as part of AEW’s Dynamite and Collision Holiday Bash 2025 tapings.
This upcoming show will be one-hour in length and will air at an earlier than usual start time of 2:30PM EST on TNT and HBO MAX.
