WWE held a double set of television tapings on Friday at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The first taping was for next week’s WWE RAW show on Monday, December 22nd while the second taping was for next week’s SmackDown show on Friday, December 26th.
In regards to notable moments from the tapings, Carmelo Hayes defeated Ilja Dragunov in an Open Challenge match to become the new WWE United States Champion.

- Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) were all involved in a backstage segment
- Giulia & Kiana James defeated Alba Fyre & Chelsea Green
- Drew McIntyre attacked Cody Rhodes and laid him out and posed with the Undisputed WWE Championship. It was announced that Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a 3 Stages of Hell match will be taking place on the January 9th episode of SmackDown.
