As noted before, TNA talent Tessa Blanchard was involved in an online controversy in January of 2020 over a social media post made by Blanchard calling for women wrestlers to support one another. This quickly lead to several female wrestlers criticizing Blanchard for her comments and brought up past instances of Blanchard bullying other female wrestlers and racial slurs she used towards a female wrestler, who was later revealed to be La Rosa Negra. Blanchard was involved in another controversy in 2021 over allegations of Blanchard bullying female talent in Women of Wrestling resulting in her no longer working with the company. Blanchard has denied the allegations against her and later made amends with La Rosa Negra over her past racial slur incident. Blanchard recently responded to claims of her being racist denying the allegations and claimed the incident was twisted because of the “social climate.”
Blanchard responded again earlier today on Twitter claiming that her and La Rosa Negra are on good terms and would love to see La Rosa join TNA one day.
“La Rosa and I are on very good terms and talk every now and then, usually about wrestling! Would love to get her in TNA one day.”
Blanchard also shared private direct messages between her and Negra.
Blanchard – “Honestly, I don’t think it’s worth rehashing. It’s in the past, and we’ve both moved forward. At this point, it’s really no one else’s business. I’m just glad we’re in a better place now, and I’d rather focus on that. We remember things differently, and that’s okay. However, we both know race had nothing to do with what happened that night. At the end of the day, what matters is where we are now, not what’s behind us. I hope you keep succeeding & doing your best because I love to see it!!! ❤️“
La Rosa Negra – “Hahahaha let me defend you in TNA!!!!
Jajajaja i was talking with Moody Jack about story lines and the reel of the (in ring) came out!!! We start laughing in good way and well…… just hoping u are well!! ✌️”
