AEW reportedly is currently dealing with advertising and ticket sales issues for their upcoming AEW Grand Slam Australia 2026 show on February 14th at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that several people who live in the Sydney area stated that there has been no advertising of late for AEW’s upcoming show. Meltzer reported that one main reason for the lack of advertising is due to AEW had lost their regular television deal with ESPN in Australia three weeks ago. ESPN is now currently packaged through Disney+ instead of being its own separate cable television channel in Australia.
Meltzer reported that those spoken to stated that people who went to last year’s Grand Slam Australia show did not even know that there was a new show coming soon there.
