Samantha Irvin Comments on Potentially Managing Ricochet in AEW
As noted before, Samantha Irvin departed from WWE in October of 2024 over issues related to Irvinโs outside music projects and Irvin wanting to do more than just be a ring announcer in the company. Irvin revealed this past October that her non-compete clause with WWE was for two years in length.
In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, Irvin gave her thoughts about her potentially working as a manager for her husband Ricochet in AEW once her non-compete expires. This fan stated “The Ricochet return and push with you as the manager is going to be so sick.” Irvin responded stating “I would be a bad manager if I advised him to return. But us together will be historic, I do believe that ๐๐ฝ“

Irvin also responded to comments from a fan who claimed that she could have been a legendary ring announcer but walked away from her job in WWE. This fan stated “Samantha Irvin couldโve been legendary but she walked away from the WWE gig.. I donโt get it.” Irvin responded stating “Samantha Irvin is legendary! Without the opportunity for it to get stale, or annoying, or overdoneโฆ because it has concluded and is preserved in a beautiful era we can always look back on ๐๐ฝ“
Irvin also confirmed that she currently has plans to become a manager once she returns to wrestling in the future.
Thank you so much! I promise I will bring even more gusto to the mic when managing talent ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
