Bronson Reed Reportedly To Undergo Surgery for Biceps Tear Injury

As noted before, “Big” Bronson Reed suffered a biceps tear injury during his Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Triple Threat match against Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano at this past Monday’s WWE RAW show. Reed was originally planned to win the match prior to his injury causing WWE officials to change their match winner plans as a result.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that Reed had suffered a distal bicep tear injury.

Johnson reported that Reed is expected to undergo surgery shortly if he has not done so already. Reed reportedly was sent to Birmingham, Alabama for the procedure following Monday’s RAW show.

LA Knight Comments on There Are “Definitely Frustrations Here And There” with His WWE Career

A recent episode of ESPN’s SportsCenter show featured LA Knight as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Knight’s thoughts about him “definitely” having frustrations with the direction of his career and position at times in WWE.

“It’s a good time. There’s definitely frustrations here and there. You can’t be in something you love and not from time to time- passion is sometimes full of anger. There’s no way not to have a little bit of that in there. But as far as what we’re doing and as far as what I’m doing, it’s been a hell of a run, it’s been a hell of a ride. So yeah, I’m having fun where I can pick my spots. It’s just trying to unplug when I actually have the chance to go home and be at home and enjoy that time.”

Big E Comments on “Very Real Criticism” of New Day Betrayal Angle

As noted before, the December 4, 2024 WWE RAW show featured Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston turning heel on Big E and kicking him out of their New Day group.

Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown on SI held a recent interview with Big E. One of the topics discussed included Big E’s thoughts about the lack of a follow-up to Woods and Kingston’s betrayal angle and the “very real criticisms” by fans towards WWE’s creative team over it.

“I think that is a very real criticism. Creative, as you know, is a give and take. I’m only one component of it. There are a lot of other people involved. The creative team kind of just talked to me about the general idea and I initially thought at least being able to kind of, not pass the baton, but if Kofi and Woods were going to work with another team, and I was able to kind of give them my blessing, or I had an idea I wanted to do around Rumble to kind of foil Kofi and Woods. Because I’m with you in that, us continuing to build this angle or to build heat with someone who’s not coming back, I think doesn’t make sense. It leads fans astray. But I thought if anything, Okay, if we’re going to do this, there’s a way for me to kind of pass the torch to someone else or give them my blessing, or say, I’m aligned with you, or say, whatever it is.

There are a lot of cooks in the creative kitchen, and we felt like this was us making the best of what we were given, and yeah, that’s kind of how that went down. But no, I agree with you and a lot of people who felt the same, and I saw a lot of that feedback after it was clear that I wasn’t coming back in a timely fashion, that it was, ‘Okay, why are we putting so much stock into an angle where one person is never coming back? There’s no retribution?’ So I think that’s a very real criticism. I heard it, and I think people have a right to feel that way.”
