Timothy Thatcher Named New WWE EVOLVE GM

Wednesday’s WWE EVOLVE show on Tubi featured the announcement of Timothy Thatcher being officially named as the new General Manager of the WWE EVOLVE brand.

During the show, NXT Interim GM Robert Stone came out to the ring for a special Town Hall announcement. This announcement was Stone officially revealing Thatcher as the newest GM for the WWE EVOLVE brand.

Thatcher replaces Stevie Turner, who had been the GM/Prime Minister of the brand prior to her release from WWE in October of 2025.


Kendal Grey Vacates WWE EVOLVE Women’s Title

Wednesday’s WWE EVOLVE show on Tubi also featured Kendal Grey officially vacating her WWE EVOLVE Women’s Championship.

Following Grey defeating Tyra Mae Steele, Grey grabbed a microphone and announced that she was officially vacating her belt due to her now moving full-time as a member of WWE’s NXT brand. Grey then handed over her title to WWE EVOLVE GM Timothy Thatcher to make it official.

Prior to her announcement, Grey had held the title for the 170 days as the second ever WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion, following Kali Armstrong.


Backstage Update on William Regal’s NXT Status After March 10th WWE NXT Show

As noted before, this past Tuesday’s WWE NXT show featured WWE VP of Global Talent Development William Regal and Performance Center coach Fit Finlay making a surprise appearance. Regal and Finlay were revealed to be the mystery people that Uriah Connors had called to help persuade Charlie Dempsey to join the Birthright group led by Lexis King.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that prior to his appearance at this past Tuesday’s show, Regal had not been seen at the Performance Center and also had not been on the road with the main roster for some time.

Johnson reported that both Regal and Finlay are currently expected to be regulars on the NXT brand going forward for their role with the Birthright faction.


Bayley Humphrey Gets New WWE NXT Ring Name

As noted before, WWE had recently filed a new trademark for “Myka Lockwood” to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. It was not known at the time who this new name would be utilized for in WWE.

WWE NXT developmental talent Bayley Humphrey revealed on Wednesday on Twitter that this new ring name was for her going forward in WWE. Humphrey changed her name on social media to reflect her new ring name in the company.
