As noted before, Monday’s WWE RAW show in Laredo, Texas featured the announcement of Stephanie Vaquer suffering second-degree AC sprain in her shoulder following a backstage attack angle by Judgement Day.
Besides Vaquer, Talla Tonga’s status with WWE has been unknown since his abscense from the April 24th episode of WWE SmackDown that was notable for WWE releasing a new batch of talent earlier in the day.
In regards to Vaquer, the Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources stated that Vauqer’s injury situation is legitimate and is likely the sprain that was referenced during Monday’s WWE RAW show. Alvarez reported that it is currently not known when Vaquer had actually suffered the injury.
Vaquer last wrestled against Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 Night 1 event earlier this month.
In regards to Tonga, Alvarez reported that his sources stated that Tonga’s abscense was not due to anything related to the talent releases that day and instead he is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury. Tonga reportedly is currently expected to return fairly soon.
Tonga last wrestled in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal match at the April 17th episode of WWE SmackDown.
